STATEMENT ON INDIA- ZAMBIA/KENYA TOURISM FOR RELEASE TO THE MEDIA ON JUNE 6, 2017

 

Zambia’s High Commissioner to India JUDITH KAPIJIMPANGA has called on Kenya and other African Countries accredited to India to speak with one voice to attract tourism and trade for the African continent.

 

Mrs. KAPIJIMPANGA says the Zambian High Commission in New Delhi will uphold the brotherly relations with Kenya in all matters that will benefit the people of Zambia and Kenya especially that they have strong bilateral ties and are members of both COMESA and the Great Lakes Region.

 

Mrs. KAPIJIMPANGA who is also accredited to Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Maldives and Singapore says it is gratifying that the two countries have maintained peace which is a pre- requisite for tourism and trade.

 

She said this in New Delhi, India, when she called on Kenyan High Commissioner to India FLORENCE WECHE.

 

And Kenyan High Commissioner to India FLORENCE WECHE says it is important for the two countries to tap into the one point 3 billion people of India who love travelling and enhance tourism and trade in the two countries.

 

This is according to a statement released by First Secretary Press and Tourism at the Zambian Mission in New Delhi, India, Bangwe Naviley.
