EXIM Bank has assures Zambia over health posts

PRESS STATEMENT EXIM BANK FOR RELEASE TO THE MEDIA ON JULY 25, 2017

Export -Import Bank of India- EXIM Bank has assured the nation that it is ready to fund an additional line of credit for the completion of the six hundred and fifty (650) health posts in Zambia.

EXIM Bank Chief General Manager NADEE PANJETAN says the bank is simply waiting for instructions from the Ministry of External Affairs of India.

He says loopholes have been sealed off to prevent a recurrence of the termination of contracts in future by choosing the right contractors. 

The Chief General Manager who was flanked by EXIM Bank Managing Director DAVID RASQUINHA said this when he called on Zambia’s High Commissioner to India JUDITH KAPIJIMPANGA at the Zambian Chancery in New Delhi.

And MRS KAPIJIMPANGA says the Country appreciates the Indian Government for extending the line of credit to construct health posts in the country which have already started saving lives.

She says the Country is anxiously waiting for additional funds to complete the health posts especially in the Northern half of the country where the contract for Angelic International was cancelled.
